TechForge is a student hub dedicated to providing future engineers with an environment in which to develop practical skills. Founded in October 2023 and affiliated with the non-governmental organisation Liga Studenților Electroniști (LSE), the hub encourages students to explore engineering fields such as robotics, electronics and programming.
The technical group comprises two branches: the Student Branch, which addresses the needs of students and LSE volunteers, and the Performance Team, which aims to participate in international competitions. Alongside their strong interest in robotics, members take part in related events, including Game Jams, the NXP Cup, the Bosch Cup, student scientific communication sessions and Electroniada.
Student engagement is reflected in a WhatsApp community of 500 members and three workshops (TechBridge, 3D Print Workshop and Sumo Workshop) with over 50 participants. TechBridge recorded a particularly strong attendance of 213 participants.
