Cooperation with the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology.

The SIGMA lab focuses on signal modeling and analysis, with three main research areas: robustness of neural networks, audio analysis, and biomedical analysis. Research in robustness aims to improve the safety and reliability of neural network-based systems through the development of optimization techniques, adversarial training, and regularization. Audio analysis focuses on enhancing audio feature extraction and analysis using advanced signal processing algorithms, deep learning, and HRTF measurements for spatial audio rendering. Biomedical analysis utilizes signal processing techniques to analyze biomedical data, developing algorithms for artifact removal and integrating machine learning techniques for various classifications, collaborating with clinicians for validation and innovative applications in mental health and rehabilitation. The lab collaborates with academic and industry partners to ensure the practical relevance of its research
