Cooperation

Interdisciplinary cooperation between the faculties of Politehnica Bucharest.

Team NOVA is a student-led engineering team dedicated to the design, construction, and testing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned aircraft systems (UASs) for international competitions. Our mission is to create innovative, high-performance aircraft that push the boundaries of aerospace engineering. By participating in hands-on challenges such as AIAA Design/Build/Fly, Student Air Race and Air Cargo Challenge, we provide our members with real-world experience in design, manufacturing, and testing of aircraft systems.

We integrate technologies in both avionics and composite manufacturing, combining advanced flight electronics with lightweight, high-performance materials. Our portfolio includes projects like AIM, AEROS, AEROATLAS, CARPATHIAN SHADOW, KAM1KAZE, and DROWO24, each one contributing to the technical and professional growth of future aerospace leaders.
