Signals, Systems and Process Control Lab is a research lab within the UPB research center CAMPUS. It is oriented to theoretical research, solution development, prototype design, testing and implementation in control systems, by integrating in a closed and interdisciplinary manner the signals and systems theory (modeling, identification, optimization, numerical methods, used for the synthesis of advanced control algorithms) with control engineering (data acquisition and processing, supervision, diagnosis, reconfiguration, fault tolerance, communication and software). Signals, Systems and Process Control Lab staff is composed of 14 faculty members and researchers (post-doc and PhD students), who were involved in several national research grants and strategic programmes funded under European Structural Funds. They are authors for more than 150 scientific publications in high ranked journals and top conferences from the field.
