
Human-Computer Dialogue Systems and Speech and Audio Forensics Lab (HCDAF) is a research laboratory within the UPB research center CAMPUS. It develops advanced algorithms and systems for all areas of spoken language technology (including automatic speech and speaker recognition, text-to-speech synthesis, spoken term detection, natural language processing, statistical machine translation, and intelligent speech-enabled interfaces for human-computer interaction) and offers support and expertise in different areas of forensic speech and audio analysis (forensic speaker recognition, forensic authentication, forensic audio enhancement, etc.). With more than 30 years of experience in speech and audio technology, HCDAF Lab is currently composed of 5 full-time academic members and several PhD and master students. HCDAF staff was involved in several national research grants and strategic programmes funded under European Structural Funds and authored more than 250 scientific publications in high ranked journals and top conferences from the field.
